A very creepy boy and my daughter?

My daughter Maeby recently told me about a boy named Steve Holt at school. I felt this was a breakthrough, seeing as she has been rebellious and never speaks to her mother or I anymore. Anywho, she was acquainted with this lad before (they never dated or were friends) but she stopped speaking to him. She felt that he and his friends were "creepy and rude". Now all he does is mention to other people about how much he misses her! Her cousin George Michael, wants to tell them to "f**k off" but i feel that is extreme. What advice should I tell my daughter? It is upsetting her.
