The return of the least likely lovers presense?

In late 2006 I set out to LA for a career in modeling and upon doing so had an intense but very short lived and emotional fling with some emo strings attached. Then for whatever reason my poor communication ended up blowing it and or my overbearingness creeped him out so he blocked me on AIM and offered words of hostility. Like nearly 2 1/2 years p, enough time that I blow up in the modeling industry and subsequently wane as I age slightly (25) and and suddenly this week I go to sign onto AIM and am shocked to see he is very much online and unblocked my screenname the first time ive seen it that long. Upon my inquery of why he unblocked me he said "Oh i just unblocked everyone - lol" he immediately began to talk in depth about what he has been doing and where he has been and talked about what IVE been doing. HOW THE HELL DOES someone who at least appeared put out by my bad courting disappear for YEARS and pop up out of nowhere today with evidence of having followed my whereabouts and doings? Is this evidence of underlying interest on his part developing? I mean its not like im wealthy i just had a good modeling career.
