Tanning question?

i want to start tanning but not like a major thing. i just want to go for like a week or two before my vacation. i lvie in upstate new york where there is like hardly ever enough sun for me to tan, so i want to go tanning because i am going to florida. i have tried the tan in a can stuff and it doesn't work well with me, so i know that gonig for 2 weeks is safe, and won't give me wrinkles so i can go. what are some things i should look for when finding a place to tan? i really don't want like a major chain like tanning bed or something, but maybe a place with a one or few locations. what is the best kind of way to do it? spray, bed? like what are some things i need to know, or bring when doing it? thanks!
