I'm in love with my best guy friend?

He's not the type of person to openly talk to random people, especially about personal vendetas, so we started to become close. It wasnt long before i realized i was falling for him, and i didnt hide it. He noticed too, although he didnt say anything. And i can read body language, especially a good friends, and i couldve sworn he felt the same way. His face lit up, he always turned to me, and he still does. our relationship hasnt changed after i told him, and mutual friends have told me we fit each other & they can see this spark in our eyes...About three months went by and i finally told him & all he said was 'oh'. Ive tried talking to him, but hes said we could only be friends. He never said WHY or that he didnt feel the same way, and im tired of bringing it up, like im pestering him. I realized i should just give him time, but were going to different colleges in the fall, so im not sure if i should bring it up & get all the answers, or just wonder the rest of my life if this kid was the one i was supposed to marry. Any ideas?
