Possible to fall in love over the internet?!?!?!?

i think it would be best to just be friends with this guy. because it is over the internet and i don't think you can truly be in love with someone if you have never met them? but if he's nice to you and he makes you feel good you should just stay friends with him because it would probably just be to complicated to date?
